The theme for the 2019 Annual Meeting of SRP Centers will be “Data to Knowledge to Action”.
Overview
A major objective of the meeting will be to highlight innovation occurring within SRP centers to promote environmental health, particularly that being driven by early stage investigators and trainees.
Following SRP Annual Meeting tradition, collaboration across disciplines within SRP centers, across SRP centers, and with external partners will be highlighted throughout the program. To honor this tradition, the program committee invites groups of investigators across disciplines and/or SRP centers to propose session themes that tie together multiple abstracts as part of the abstract submission process.
The meeting will also emphasize how fundamental research has stimulated knowledge translation, training, and prevention/intervention activities. Please join us in Seattle for a stimulating and thought-provoking meeting that explores the full diversity of Superfund-related research, training, translation, and community engagement. The NIEHS Superfund Research Program (SRP) supports multidisciplinary research to address human and environmental health challenges related to Superfund and other hazardous waste sites.
